## Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing various structures, frames, panels, braces, tables, and other items on board our ships. This includes repairing and replacing utensils, mirrors, soap holders, towel hooks, toilet seats, and broken glass from windows and portholes. You will also be responsible for repairing and replacing tiles in kitchens, showers, swimming pools, and other areas, as well as fabricating extra shelving or cabinets wherever required. Additionally, you will varnish and paint furniture and dance floors, and work with upholsterers in repairing furniture. You will also remove and replace ceiling panels where required.

The ideal candidate will have a Seaman Book and carpentry knowledge, with experience in maintenance and repair, preferably prior shipboard maintenance experience. You must be able to bend, climb, perform repetitive motion, and repetitively heavy lift, and maintain physical fitness to perform tasks associated with the job.
