## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Welding Technician IV to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Fletcher, NC.

As a Housing Welding Technician IV, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Enhance Safety: You will help maintain a safe work environment by reporting major injury hazards immediately.

- Promote Health: You will report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards to ensure timely interventions.

- Ensure Compliance: You will adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain high safety and environmental standards.

- Foster Team Safety: You will use appropriate personal protective equipment and promote interdependence among team members.

- Improve Quality: You will apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, and perform quality inspections to ensure high-quality outputs.

- Support Maintenance: You will provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and support equipment failure analysis.

- Optimize Processes: You will work with peers and support staff to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and improve processes.

- Encourage Teamwork: You will communicate effectively with your team and participate in training and development.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

- Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

- Licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations may be required.

**Shift Details:**

- This is a Fri-Sun Skilled Technician role.

- The shift will be from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.

**Compensation:**

- Base Rate: $21.49 - $31.28/hr
