## Description

Provo City is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled trades work in various facility and equipment maintenance and repair projects.

The successful candidate will provide skilled maintenance and repair work across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, masonry, painting, and general facility upkeep.

Responsibilities:

- Perform skilled maintenance and repair work across multiple trades

- Diagnose issues with building systems, equipment, HVAC controls, and security/access systems

- Design, modify, or troubleshoot construction and maintenance projects as needed

- Conduct inspections on facilities, equipment, and project work to ensure safety and code compliance

- Plan, prioritise, and oversee maintenance projects, including developing work plans and estimating time, materials, and costs

- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and purchases

- Monitor contractor work to ensure alignment with contract requirements, timelines, and quality standards

- Supervise full-time and part-time maintenance staff, ensuring safe and efficient performance

- Maintain tools and equipment, performing minor and major repairs as needed

- Perform other facility maintenance duties to support recreation centre operations

Requirements:

- Three years of experience as an Apprentice Facilities Maintenance Technician or five years of progressively responsible experience in a variety of trades or crafts

- A valid, lawful Driver's Licence
