## Description

As an Onsite Machine Repair Specialist at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, you will serve as the frontline engine of manufacturing reliability, taking complete ownership of mission-critical equipment to eliminate unplanned downtime.

In this role, you will perform rigorous preventative maintenance, condition assessments, and dynamic diagnostics on complex industrial machine tools. You will interpret complex schematics, execute precise calibrations, and harness advanced PLC diagnostics to resolve intricate equipment challenges safely and efficiently.

Beyond immediate technical repairs, your breakthrough mindset will elevate the entire facility: you will deliver high-impact technical guidance and training to customer maintenance teams, turning everyday maintenance into long-term strategic advantage.

The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00 annually plus bonus opportunities.

**Responsibilities**

- Perform preventative maintenance, condition assessments, and dynamic diagnostics on complex industrial machine tools

- Interpret complex schematics, execute precise calibrations, and harness advanced PLC diagnostics

- Deliver high-impact technical guidance and training to customer maintenance teams

- Maintain meticulous discipline in digital reporting, leveraging CRM and business platforms

**Requirements**

- 5 or more years of experience installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing manual machine tools, fabrication equipment, and CNC machinery

- Electrical and electronic skills, including troubleshooting, lockout/tagout, and PLC knowledge

- Exceptional mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills

- Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

- CRM experience
