## Description

At Avery Healthcare, you will be making a positive impact on residents' lives every day with your compassion and dedication.

Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home.

Responsibilities include:

- Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions

- Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained

- Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected

Ideal candidates possess:

- Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments

- Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting

- Compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents

- The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice

The role requires undergoing a DBS Disclosure check, paid by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Salary: £12.75 an hour, Permanent, Full-time
