## Description

NVIDIA is looking for a Pre Production Engineer to join the DGX Cloud Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of AI and GPUs in the Cloud.

The DGX OS is open-source, modular software for building, operating, and scaling multi-tenant AI factory infrastructure efficiently, with performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will ensure pre-production labs and development environments for DSX OS are stable, reliable, and ready for rapid iteration.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage NVIDIA's pre-production DSX OS environments, ensuring software developers focus on features rather than infrastructure debugging.

- Drive day-1 and day-2 lifecycle operations, including software upgrades, firmware rollouts, and environment setup.

- Serve as the first point of contact for critical issues from software developers, conducting root cause analysis and routing issues to relevant teams.

- Collaborate closely with Network engineers, Production engineers, and DSX OS software component owners to identify gaps in the stack.

- Work with QA, Bring-Up, and software development teams to reduce environment-related issues and accelerate DSX OS development.

**Requirements:**

- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.

- Understanding of cloud design principles, including virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, and security.

- Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Ansible and Terraform.

**Nice to Have:**

- Experience automating and operating infrastructure built for AI.

- Background with DPUs.
