## Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Circle Rehabilitation in Birmingham. As a Senior Occupational Therapist (Bank), you will work on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Your duties will include:

- Assessing, planning, and delivering specialist occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual patient goals

- Supporting patients in developing independence with personal care, domestic tasks, functional mobility, and cognitive or sensory challenges

- Using a range of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to promote recovery and quality of life

- Managing a complex caseload independently, providing specialist input into treatment plans and discharge decisions

- Completing risk assessments and home environment evaluations to support safe discharge planning

- Liaising with community services, social care, and other agencies to ensure continuity of care

To be considered for this role, you should:

- Be a HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

- Have significant post-registration experience across relevant clinical settings (e.g., acute, rehabilitation, mental health, community)

- Possess strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention planning skills

- Have experience supervising junior staff or students

- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork abilities

Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £23.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
