## Description

We are seeking a Project Assistant (Cultural Mediation) to support the ALT Caporalato T.R.E. project in Italy.

The successful candidate will provide cultural mediation support to the Territorial Labour Inspectorates' activities aimed at fighting migrants' labour exploitation during labour inspections and information sessions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing cultural mediation support during inspections and information sessions

- Supporting the provision of general information on national laws and administrative procedures

- Contributing to awareness-raising activities on protection mechanisms for victims of labour exploitation and/or trafficking

- Assisting inspection taskforces by accompanying teams to different sites

- Providing language support during outreach activities, inspections, and meetings

Requirements:

- High School Diploma with three years of relevant professional experience or Bachelor's degree with one year of relevant working experience

- Experience in clerical or administrative support functions

- Experience in cultural mediation particularly with migrants or vulnerable groups is an advantage

- Fluency in Italian and mother tongue in Bengali (oral and written)

- Good organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills

- Driving licence is required

We offer a fixed-term contract of 1 year with the possibility of extension.
