## Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Waverley Grange Care Home in Farnham. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the chefs and ensuring our residents receive excellent care and service.

**Job Summary:** As a Kitchen Assistant at Waverley Grange Care Home, you will act as a link between the main kitchen and our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting the chefs to plate meals, preparing food trolleys, and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment. You will also be involved in monitoring stock rotation, complying with company policies and procedures, and assisting with catering for special events.

**Responsibilities:**

- Act as a link between the main kitchen and residents

- Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment

- Monitor stock rotation and comply with company policies and procedures

- Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience working in a kitchen

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

- Passion for food and delivering excellent service

- Ability to work effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams
