## Description

We are seeking a skilled Damper Technician to join our team at Multimatic in Thetford, Norfolk.

As a Damper Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our damper units. You will be responsible for:

- Adhering to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

- Performing mechanical and hydraulic assembly of automotive components

- Preparing products and valve components for dyno testing

- Conducting dyno tests on damper units to ensure compliance with customer specifications

- Analysing dyno reports and identifying faults

- Reworking damper units that do not meet customer or quality assurance specifications

- Completing paperwork in accordance with QA and project administration requirements

- Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe working environment

- Participating in R&D activities as required

- Supporting company and department activities to meet goals and objectives

- Adopting and practising Kaizen principles and participating in continuous improvement activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Engineering certification or equivalent

- Basic knowledge of MS Windows

- Basic mechanical assembly experience

- Ability to read, write and speak English
