## Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join their Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team. The successful candidate will specify, design, develop, and install devices used to collect data on solid rocket motor burn performance. They will also design custom electronic solutions, including PCBs, firmware, and FPGA code, needed to manufacture and test solid rocket motors.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze current equipment and identify areas for improvement

- Design and develop instrumentation to meet those needs

- Collaborate with other engineers to develop accurate and efficient equipment

- Design and test prototypes of equipment

- Oversee the implementation of new measuring devices and control systems

- Act as project engineer for design, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing development

- Develop cable drawings to interface with various low-voltage interfaces

- Draft and present formal technical documents, reports, and testing results

- Provide training related to devices to employees and/or customers

Requirements:

- Minimum of 8 years' experience with the design, development, and installation of sensors

- Experience with NI Labview or NI DAQmx, or other COTS data acquisition systems

- Understanding of signal conditioning for data acquisition and analog circuit design

- Knowledge of the analog-to-digital conversion process and digital circuit design

- Experience with computer-controlled data acquisition and developing computer applications for data collection

- Ability to select the correct sensors and design their placement

- Thorough understanding of applied math and physics

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-aided design software

- Ability to write and understand Python

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in engineering

- Experience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE)

- Experience using EDA tools such as Altium/OrCAD

- Familiarity with real-time computer architectures and their OS's

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
