## Description

We are seeking a Product Controller Senior Analyst, AYST to join our Business Finance function in Mumbai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely production of daily T+1 P&L production, attribution and analysis. They will provide daily commentary and variance investigation to Front Office traders and senior Finance managers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Producing daily T+1 P&L production, attribution and analysis

- Providing daily commentary and variance investigation to Front Office traders and senior Finance managers

- Break investigation and resolution: Model vs Actual (Ledger) Cash, FO/MO system vs trade docs etc

- Model risk control exceptions resolution

- Ensuring compliance to risk and control guidelines

- Stakeholder management by prompt response to various queries/issues from Finance directors, onshore management, Front office traders, Fincon, Risk management, etc.

- Understanding trade flows, booking structures and ensuring that trades are captured in accordance with defined structures

- Performing month end close activities- SAP journals, reconciliations, balance sheet substantiations and reporting

- Performing QA function for processes within team's remit and regularly assessing the effectiveness of checks

- Engaging with CTB/SME to deliver change

- First level of escalation for team issues and for stakeholder escalation

- Managing the resolution of product reconciliation break/exception items in a timely manner

- Monitoring of exceptions including investigation and explanation

- Review of Balance sheet substantiation

- Process standardization across business

- Providing summary of KRI's for their business area and remediation plans where SLAs are being missed and/or where issues exist

- Facilitating CTB initiatives and driving continuous improvement program within their team

- Ensuring that KOPs are reviewed for relevance and effectiveness on a timely basis

The ideal candidate will have:

- Financial Control and product control experience in Investment Banking

- Strong understanding of financial market products such as Loans, Bonds, Credit, derivatives, Cash Equity, Swaps, Options and Futures

- Solid Fixed Income product knowledge i.e. Bonds, CDS, TRS, IRS & Loans

- IFRS/GAAP knowledge is preferred

- Strong knowledge / experience of front to back Investment Banking environment (trade capture to balance sheet)

- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizes responsibilities, and escalates issues as necessary

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, strong Word and Excel skills required

- Exposure to multiple front office systems

- Preferably qualified MBA/Chartered Accountant / CPA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA
