## Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Configure and maintain PC hardware according to Multimatic Inc's hardware specifications

- Assist in maintaining the physical network, including servers, printers, plotters, and switches

- Assist in maintaining all Windows server platforms

- Provide technical support for all desktop operating systems

- Install and maintain PC application programs according to Multimatic Inc's software specifications

- Support all telephone systems

- Assist in keeping an accurate hardware inventory of all computer equipment

- Ensure all label printers and scanner guns are functioning and provide maintenance when needed

- Support a near-zero downtime environment

- Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable

- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager

- Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures, including legislative requirements of the OHSA

- Work in compliance with and conform to Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards

- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities

- Responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding users

- Ability to communicate with 3rd party vendors and managers

Basic Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a college diploma or university degree in computer systems and engineering technology, information systems support, or a related field

- Excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and WAN/LAN technologies

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization, customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors

- Must be a self-starter with an ability to work independently
