## Description

VGS is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to help design secure, scalable integrations for modern payments. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate technology into tangible business value, working closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering teams.

**What You'll Do**

- Conduct technical discovery with customers to clarify business goals, requirements, and risks

- Map payment flows across various stakeholders, including merchants, PSPs, and processors

- Architect solutions using VGS capabilities, such as vaulting, card management, and tokenization

- Guide customers on payment security best practices and PCI scope reduction

- Lead technical strategy for qualified opportunities and create architecture diagrams, proposals, and proofs of concept

- Collaborate with customer engineers on APIs, webhooks, and integrations

- Translate customer feedback into actionable input for the VGS product roadmap

**What You Bring**

- 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting

- Experience with large-scale card or credential migrations and multi-PSP strategies

- Background at a merchant, PSP, processor, or payment infrastructure company

- Knowledge of PCI DSS, data security, and compliance architecture

- Proficiency with web services, APIs, and full-stack development

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
