## Meet the Team

The Cisco IOS XR India group is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and supporting solutions for some of the world's largest service providers and web enterprises. The team owns key protocol components in the NOS and is in charge of router observability and application hosting frameworks.

## Your Impact

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the development team responsible for feature development, testing, and integration into customer environments. You will develop expertise in OS protocols, learn Cisco development/unit-test environments, and participate in issue triage, support, monitoring, and resolution.

## Responsibilities

- Develop features and test them in customer environments

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues

- Develop expertise in OS protocols and Cisco development environments

- Participate in issue triage, support, monitoring, and resolution

## Requirements

- 2-5 years of experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering

- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C

- Sound knowledge of operating system concepts and system programming on UNIX-based systems

- Network and multithreaded programming

## Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Netconf/Yang, GRPC, REST APIs, openconfig, sonic, SNMP

- Exposure to L2/L3 protocols, Optical networking
