## About the Role

As the Manager, Operations, South Korea at Airwallex, you will own the South Korea operations function to ensure seamless customer experiences. With rapid expansion and a growing client base, you will build and lead a scalable and efficient team.

Your main goals will be to optimize current operations processes and implement new ones, ensuring adherence to local rules and regulations and delivering a seamless end-user experience.

## Responsibilities

- Identify and drive strategic projects to improve customer experience and operationalize internal functions

- Take a data-driven approach to problem-solving

- Collaborate across functions to ensure stakeholder alignment and deliver desired outcomes

- Help build customer support processes

- Manage daily operations and monitoring of AML/compliance programs

- Work with the Compliance Manager to operationalize emerging regulatory and compliance requirements

- Promote Operations products and excellence in operations affairs with product teams

- Monitor and improve efficiency of key compliance operations functions, including transaction monitoring, KYC, and name screening

- Monitor payment and treasury-related operations for the regional business

- Define key KPIs and build reports to improve customer experience and drive efficiency improvements

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- 7+ years of relevant experience

- Experience working in a global environment is preferred

- Experience in FinTech, start-ups, or fast-growing tech companies is preferred

- Fluency in English and Korean
