## Description

We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Napton School, part of Kedleston Group.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will build positive relationships with pupils, promoting high self-esteem and independence. You will adapt your communication style to respond to pupils according to their individual needs. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting pupils with their social, emotional and mental health needs, escalating concerns where appropriate

- Providing levels of care and support appropriate to the general needs of the children and those outlined in their EHCP's and individualised plans

- Promoting high standards of behaviour, responding to incidents in line with the school's behaviour policy and guidelines on physical intervention

- Assisting with the development and delivery of individual education and support plans

- Displaying levels of personal behaviour which will provide an appropriate model for the children

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience working with SEN children in an educational setting

- Great communication and interpersonal skills

- A can-do attitude

- A passion for education and helping students thrive
