As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience. Your main priorities will be to ensure that products are available and easy to shop, replenish stock, price and sign merchandise, and maintain the sales floor and backroom.

Responsibilities:

- Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve any issues

- Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, and maintaining the sales floor

- Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified

- Learn and execute operational procedures such as setting and organising merchandise, managing product accuracy and stock levels

- Follow all Target policies and safety procedures

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfilment processes

Requirements:

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

- Ability to work both independently and with a team

- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
