## About this role

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production process in our whisky distillery.

## Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the whisky production process flow according to Diageo's standards, including mashing, fermentation, distillation, aging, bottling, packaging, etc.

- Monitor and adjust process parameters during production to ensure product quality meets requirements.

- Participate in daily maintenance and servicing of production equipment to promptly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.

- Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and acceptance to ensure equipment meets production process requirements.

- Collaborate with the equipment engineering department to improve and optimize equipment, increasing production efficiency and product quality.

- Train employees in process operations to enhance their professional skills.

- Participate in developing production plans and budgets, and reasonably arrange production resources.

- Cooperate with the quality department in product quality control to ensure products meet relevant standards and customer requirements.

- Apply lean manufacturing knowledge to organize and drive productivity improvement initiatives.

- Complete short interval control documentation on activities.

- Participate in line improvement projects and coach others in machine or plant operation.

- Engage in start-of-shift meetings and performance-based team meetings to address persistent performance issues.

- Manage change for continuous improvement.

- Conduct behavioral safety conversations.

## Experience/Skills Required

- Excellent command of English, with fluent communication skills.

- Bachelor's degree or above in bio-engineering, food engineering, or related fields.

- Relevant working experience in whisky distillation factories or breweries.

- Familiarity with brewing process flows and equipment, with problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of risk standards (Quality, Health & Safety, Environment).
