## Description

We are seeking a Specialist Doctor in Anaesthetics to join our team at East Surrey & Crawley Hospitals. The post comprises a weekly average of 9 PA's of clinical work, 1 SPA's spread across elective and emergency anaesthetics.

The successful candidate will join a department that is friendly, engaged and provides excellent training and mentor support. The team comprises of 43 Consultants, 9 SAS Grades, up to 24 Trainees and administrative staff.

**Main duties of the job**

- Provide safe, high-quality anaesthesia for elective and emergency patients.

- Teach and mentor trainees.

- Contribute to quality improvement; risk management initiatives and policy development.

- Participate in work-related projects.

- Adhere to Hospital Policies and Procedures.

- Comply with Health and Safety Regulations.

- Undertake any other duties that may be required.
