In this role, you will meet directly with engineers to support their budget needs, providing necessary financial guidance as a pragmatic business partner. We are looking for someone adaptable,an individual we can mentor and mold as they grow alongside our dynamic Engineering department.

- Meet regularly with engineers and technical staff to gather data, understand their resourcing needs, and act as a helpful, approachable partner.

- Assist in analyzing financial data, tracking variances, and understanding department spend to provide clear visibility to team leads.

- Facilitate smooth communication between Finance and Engineering, ensuring financial processes are intuitive and minimally disruptive to technical workflows.

- Embrace a 'learn on the job' mentality, adapting to new challenges, systems, and ad-hoc analytical requests as the company grows.

- Experience partnering with engineering teams to support budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

- Exceptional work ethic, humility, and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trust and partner seamlessly with non-finance teams, avoiding a heavy-handed approach.

- Adaptable and flexible; comfortable in a fast-paced environment where the role will evolve and mold to your growing strengths.
