## Description

Join our forward-thinking organisation as a Traffic Dispatcher and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our depot. You will be responsible for managing route efficiency, driver availability, and vehicle management, ensuring effective use of vehicles and facilities. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and great benefits.

As a Traffic Dispatcher, you will:

- Manage route efficiency and utilise optimum disposal outlets within the area to ensure effective use of vehicles and facilities.

- Manage driver availability and coverage in line with legislation and company procedures to ensure that there is suitable coverage at all times.

- Perform administrative duties including input of pay and bonus onto the company systems.

- Proactive vehicle management, including liaison with fleet, safe vehicle operations, wheel security, monitor vehicle gross weights.

- Supervise vehicle availability on a daily basis ensuring that drivers have completed their checks in accordance with company policy.

- Contribute towards the ongoing cost control, actively seeking to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

We are looking for a well-organised individual with a personable disposition, who has admin & call handling experience. You should have strong knowledge of the local area, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively.
