As a Target Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in keeping our guests, team, and brand secure. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues

- Promoting a physical security culture by assessing and maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store

- Responding to and documenting security incidents in a timely manner

- Using de-escalation tactics and resources when responding to security incidents

- Conducting merchandise theft recoveries and providing theft apprehension support as needed

- Preventing theft and shortage at the front of store by performing merchandise receipt checks

- Submitting documentation in the case management system for all incidents

- Understanding and using Target's video surveillance system

- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Be open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts

- Have a welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and team members

- Meet the minimum requirements of being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and meeting any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements
