## Description

The Senior Intelligence Analyst will lead the SIA's Private Security Industry Research and Analysis team, managing priorities, developing capability and ensuring the delivery of high-quality strategic, tactical and operational intelligence products.

The role involves working with senior leaders, operational teams, law enforcement and regulatory partners to identify emerging threats, risks and trends, and turning complex information into clear insight that directs activity and supports effective regulation.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Practical experience of leading and managing the production of operational, tactical and strategic analytical products

- Successful completion of a nationally recognised Intelligence Analyst training programme

- Experience of working as an Intelligence Analyst in a law enforcement or regulatory regime for at least 5 years

- Detailed practical understanding and experience of legislation relating to the control and processing of information

- Experience in developing and managing a high-performing team

Desirable skills include:

- Practical understanding of The Private Security Act 2001

- Practical understanding of the SIA's regulatory products

- Knowledge of software including iBase, Analyst Notebook, Microsoft CRM, and Microsoft Office
