## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, you will play a crucial role in delivering customer orders directly to their doorsteps. You will be the face of Sainsbury's, providing a thoughtful, friendly, and helpful delivery service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver groceries to customers on time and in great condition using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van.

- Complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and organised, and that customers' shopping is secure before setting off.

- Follow planned routes and drive safely in various locations, traffic, weather, and road conditions.

- Move containers weighing up to 15kg and deliver shopping to a variety of properties.

- Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them informed of any delays or changes to their order.

**Requirements:**

- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.

- Comfortable driving a larger vehicle safely in different locations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment.

- Willingness to use initiative, solve problems, and make safe decisions while out on the road.

- Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges.
