The Telepharmacy Technician is responsible for all daily operations of a Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy location, where the Pharmacist oversight occurs from a separate Supervising Pharmacy location.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the safe and secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy

- Manage pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances

- Execute pharmacy ordering and day-to-day inventory management practices

- Review Inventory Excellence Report and partner with the Telepharmacy team to improve inventory excellence

- Serve as point person for annual inventories, resets, and pharmacy-related components of AP Pulse Checks

- Receive and act upon operational communications

- Improve total store service foundations

- Demonstrate growth mindset to support positive business outcomes

- Serve as a peer mentor for new hires

- Provide excellent customer service

- Communicate with patients, co-workers, insurance companies, and prescribers

- Fulfill prescriptions

- Interact with patients face-to-face

- Facilitate communication between the Supervising Pharmacist and patients

- Resolve customer concerns and issues

Requirements:

- 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

- PTCB National Certification or equivalent state-accepted national Pharmacy Technician Certification

- High school diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)

- State-level licensure requirements vary by state

- Regular and reliable attendance

Physical Demands:

- Ability to concentrate on a task over an extended period

- Problem Resolution

- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and move about on foot
