## Description

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Defence and Security team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will report to the Delivery Lead and be responsible for delivering projects according to the project plan. You will be managing high-value, challenging projects and programmes within the Defence and Security sector.

Responsibilities:

- Manage projects and programmes in the Defence and Security sector

- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to get tasks scoped and delivered to budget, on time and in line with client expectations

- Organise meetings, write reports, control resources and monitor finances

- Traditional project management activities including scope and resource management, finance and schedule monitoring, change control, risk management and client management

- Additional requirements of the Defence and Security sector such as security management

Requirements:

- Proven experience in the Defence and Security sector assisting in a project management capacity

- Knowledge of MOD policy, processes and procedures, JSPs, and the Green Book and 5 case model for business cases

- Degree in a relevant technical discipline

- Progression towards a recognised project management qualification

- Existing network within the Defence and Security sector

- Eligible to achieve Security Clearance
