## Description

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Management Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial insight, governance, and performance across the organisation.

The SIA is responsible for regulating the private security industry in the United Kingdom, ensuring that private security operatives are fit and proper persons who are properly trained and qualified to do their job. The organisation's regulatory remit covers the whole of the United Kingdom.

As a Management Accountant at the SIA, you will work closely with senior leaders, budget holders, and operational teams to ensure robust financial control, accurate reporting, and high-quality decision support. You will take a lead role in month-end processes, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing expert guidance on financial matters

- Contributing to business planning and organisational projects

- Improving financial systems, processes, and reporting

- Working collaboratively across teams to support stakeholders in understanding their financial position and risks

The SIA offers a competitive salary of £44,901 - £48,000 per year, plus a range of benefits, including a Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme, 27.5 days annual leave entitlement, and flexible working arrangements.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are desirable.
