## Description

WWL WUPL-TV New Orleans, a CBS/MNTV TEGNA affiliate, seeks an experienced Multi-Skilled Journalist. The ideal candidate will create engaging stories, shoot and edit content, and distribute it across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct live shots in breaking news situations

- Develop story ideas and sources

- Research facts and maintain credibility

- Shoot, write, produce, and edit on-air and online content

- Utilize social media and digital tools for research and distribution

- Attend editorial meetings and offer story ideas

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of reporting experience

- Solid news judgment and communication skills

- Strong writing, production, and tease writing abilities

- Experience with ENPS, EDIUS, and Axis graphics preferred

- Ability to work under deadlines and handle live breaking news situations
