Corsair Gaming is seeking a Product Engineering/Supplier Quality Engineering (PE/SQE) Manager to oversee the development, qualification, and production of high-performance gaming peripherals and components.

This role will be based in Vietnam and will focus on ensuring product quality, supplier compliance, and continuous improvement in collaboration with ODM/OEM partners and internal cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in supplier quality engineering, product development, and manufacturing processes in consumer electronics or related industries.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining engineering activities in collaboration with global engineering teams.
* Act as the primary technical interface between Corsair and ODM/OEM partners in Vietnam, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM) and quality.
* Work closely with R&D, Industrial Design, and Validation teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to mass production.
* Support and drive product design improvements based on manufacturing feedback, customer insights, and field failure analysis.

Supplier Quality Management:

* Own the supplier quality engineering (SQE) function for gaming peripherals, ensuring strict adherence to Corsair’s quality standards, specifications, and reliability requirements.
* Conduct supplier audits, process capability analysis, and failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risks.
* Implement statistical process control (SPC) and quality control plans to monitor and improve supplier performance.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as ISO 9001, RoHS, REACH, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Manufacturing & Process Improvement:

* Collaborate with suppliers to optimize yield, reduce defects, and enhance production efficiency. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) efforts for supplier-related quality issues.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
* Develop and enforce incoming quality control (IQC), in-process quality control (IPQC), and outgoing quality control (OQC) strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting:

* Serve as the bridge between global Product Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align quality expectations and resolve technical challenges.
* Provide regular updates on supplier performance, yield, and product quality metrics to executive leadership.
* Train and mentor suppliers and factory teams on Corsair’s quality systems and best practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field).
* 10+ years of experience in product engineering, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering in consumer electronics, gaming peripherals, or PC components.
* 3+ years in a management role.
* Proven expertise in supplier management, process validation, and quality control methodologies.
* Strong knowledge of DFM, DFA (Design for Assembly), SPC, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven and analytical mindset.
* Ability to travel frequently to supplier and manufacturing sites in Vietnam and other APAC regions.
* Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
* Certifications in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), APQP, or CQE.
