## Description

Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic is seeking a full-time Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality catering services to patients and staff.

The clinic is a low secure service for males and females with mental health diagnoses and/or personality disorders, supporting individuals from all over the UK.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist with meal planning, preparation, cooking, and serving, ensuring compliance with operational standards and statutory regulations.

- Take full shift responsibility for the catering operation in the absence of the Head Chef.

- Ensure cost-effective and efficient control of stock, including ordering and reconciling deliveries.

- Comply with the company's Food Safety policies and guidelines.

**Requirements:**

- Qualified to NVQ2 level or equivalent.

- Basic qualification in food hygiene.

- Numeracy and literacy skills.

- Excellent organisation and time management skills.

- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

- Understanding of specialised diets, including Dysphagia and allergens.

- Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
