As a Lead Product Designer at Monzo, you will play a key role in tackling complex design challenges, defining and delivering large-scale projects, and leading the creation of compelling product visions.

Responsibilities:

- Tackle complex design challenges, turning complexity into elegant solutions

- Define and deliver large-scale projects that connect initiatives across the business

- Lead the creation of compelling product visions, principles, and direction

- Use AI to level-up parts of your design workflow

- Raise the bar for visual execution, considering motion, interaction, and mental model clarity

- Positively influence our design system, tooling, and processes

- Drive improvements across the business through cross-functional collaboration

- Act as a role model in Design, sharing your work broadly, mentoring others, and contributing to the growth and success of the Design team

Requirements:

- Proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-centric native-app designs

- Skilled at leading research, defining product visions, and aligning teams around a shared strategy

- Excel at creating modular, scalable solutions and communicating insights effectively

- Natural collaborator who can navigate multi-squad projects and drive clarity in ambiguous situations

- Passionate about improving design systems, processes, and ways of working

- Role model who actively contributes to the growth of the Design team
