## Description

We are seeking a technology leader to serve as a Technical Lead - Software Engineering for our RiskNarrative platform, a B2B risk orchestration platform that enables organisations to assess and manage risks throughout the customer lifecycle.

As a Technical Lead, you will provide technical direction, drive innovation, and influence the delivery of large-scale software solutions. You will be responsible for writing code on complex systems and applications, providing direction on project plans, schedules, and methodologies, and mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write and review detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity

- Serve as the initial point of escalation for software development issues

- Interface with technical personnel to finalize requirements

- Complete complex bug fixes

- Work closely with development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs

- Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews

- Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

- Resolve complex technical issues

- Mentor and train entry-level software engineers

- Keep abreast of new technology developments

- Design and work with complex data models

- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with organisational policies and procedures

Requirements:

- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Software Engineering experience with development languages including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP

- Good knowledge of industry best practices in development

- Ability to partner and lead internal and external technology resources

- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

- Strong experience with various resource models

- Knowledge of industry best practices in external resource development

- Test-driven development and strong research skills

- Strong proficiency with data manipulation language and optimisation techniques

- Strong understanding of normalised/dimensional data modelling principles

We offer a range of benefits, including an annual incentive bonus and country-specific benefits. The U.S. National Base Pay Range for this role is $115,400 - $192,300.
