## Description

We are seeking a Senior Principal Interconnect Development Engineer to join our team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for high-speed interconnect solutions for next-generation network switches and routers. You will work on interconnect technologies that are pre-NPI or pre-product, validating that future interconnect technologies are viable for system-level designs that may be 2-5 years away from realization.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and executing key interconnect technology validation plans

- Designing and implementing test vehicles to validate mechanical and signal integrity elements

- Working with interconnect suppliers and hardware engineering on key co-development projects

- Providing technical consultation support for interconnect component engineering

- Influencing internal and external stakeholders to drive design-related changes

Requirements:

- 15 years of deep industry experience, including 10 years of hands-on proficiency with high-speed, complex interconnect hardware

- Expertise with industry standards for qualification and reliability

- Sophisticated knowledge of variation statistics and process control

- Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills

- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
