## Description

We are seeking a Facility Attendant 1 to join our Supply Chain Facility team. As a Facility Attendant 1, you will perform a wide variety of minor maintenance tasks to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of the Distribution Centre.

**Hourly Rate:** $23.50 USD per hour, with potential additional compensation through shift differentials ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour.

**Schedule:** Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am.

**Responsibilities:**

- Support Maintenance Technicians in performing mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the facility.

- Act as a Qualified Electrical Assistant for electrical safety processes.

- Assist in the installation and removal of equipment throughout the facility.

- Evaluate and inspect the interior and exterior of the facility to determine general upkeep or repair requirements.

- Change PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) batteries and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on batteries.

- Complete maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of Label Tec Printers.

- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, grinders, pneumatic tools, and welders.

- Construct or repair assets within the facility, including assembling furniture and building shelving or racks.

- Complete plumbing tasks such as installation or repairing of faucets and landscape sprinklers.

- Perform tasks such as painting and drywall repairs, concrete patching, or minor concrete replacement.

- Assist in all duties related to preventive maintenance programs.

- Remove cardboard bales from bailers and trash from buildings.

- Operate snow removal equipment to clean walks, roads, and parking lots.

- Drive Target-owned vehicles for yard cleanup, respond to yard incidents, escort vendors, and pick up parts and materials.

- Utilize handheld devices and mobile apps to create and close Work Orders.

- Follow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

**Physical Demands:**

- Lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 47 lbs. regularly, and up to 60 lbs. on an infrequent basis.

- Move about within and around the site with great frequency (up to 10-12 hours per shift).

- Work in various temperature-controlled environments.

- Access all areas of the Distribution Centre, including conveyor crossovers and mezzanine platforms.

- Have full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists, eye/hand coordination, and manual, wrist motion.

**Requirements:**

- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

- Work both independently and in a team environment.

- Effective communication skills.

- Accurately use basic math skills.

- Able to be certified to operate all power equipment.

- Able to use maintenance tools.

- Able to read and comprehend labels, tickets, instructions, etc.

- Able to work with minimal supervision and self-motivate.
