## Description

We're expanding our operations to Romania and building a tech hub in the region. As a Staff full-stack engineer, with a backend focus, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of customer engagement. You will be instrumental in delivering timely, actionable insights that drive business growth from day one.

Your main responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services and APIs to support applications. You will build and optimize data storage solutions using Postgres, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch to ensure high performance and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions. You will monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in distributed systems and databases. You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices for backend development. You will participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration efforts. You will ensure security, scalability, and reliability of backend services. You will analyse and improve system architecture, focusing on performance bottlenecks, scaling, and security.

To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on database design and system architecture. You will require strong expertise in ClickHouse or similar columnar databases for managing large-scale, real-time analytical queries. You will need hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for indexing and searching large datasets. You will be proficient in backend programming languages such as Python, Go. You will have experience with RESTful API design and development. You will have a solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure. You will have experience with performance tuning, data modelling, and query optimisation. You will have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You will have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
