Working as a Cake Decorator at Target means helping families discover the joy of everyday life. You will be part of the Food & Beverage team, ensuring products are fresh, in stock, available, and accurately priced.

As a Cake Decorator, your role will involve:

- Creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues

- Supporting team efforts and assisting peers in other areas

- Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an exceptional guest experience

- Executing Food & Beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and stock management

- Engaging with guests to capture and fulfil their customised cake orders

- Upholding Food & Beverage Standards

- Producing, packaging, and labelling items to specifications

- Preparing, icing, and decorating cakes and cupcakes

- Following food safety requirements and monitoring temperature of sensitive food items

- Locating and identifying damaged, recalled, or expired items

- Using sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales

- Maintaining accurate inventory records

- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Working in a safe manner and reporting hazards

- Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up
