## Description

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing commodities/categories on a global basis, including goods and services that support the company and its customers. Your primary objective will be to provide best-in-class Global Procurement customer experience to our clients while maximizing the value of their budget returns.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the analysis of specific commodity data and industry trends

- Participate as a member of a cross-functional team and lead specific projects

- Meet with stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans

- Participate in supplier selection activities

- Negotiate with suppliers

- Engage with low-complexity suppliers to negotiate commercials and acceptable contracting outcomes

- Negotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions

- Execute risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies

- Advise program level business representatives on fundamental contract risk areas

- Monitor supplier performance

Requirements:

- First level university degree or equivalent experience

- 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain function

- Understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers

- Basic analytical skills

- Knowledge of business application tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)

- Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities

- Basic Project Management skills

- Basic ability to develop suppliers

- Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills

- Mastery in English and local language
