## Description

We are seeking a Senior CAD Technician to work on infrastructure schemes, primarily in the roads sector.

You will be responsible for independently developing engineering drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other design software.

Key responsibilities include:

- Creating engineering drawings in accordance with relevant standards

- Actively participating in the design process and managing multiple projects simultaneously

- Using design software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation for drawing production and development

- Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures

- Taking ownership of personal development with line manager support

- Assisting in team development and line management

Requirements:

- ITI or Diploma in Engineering level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent

- 8-12 years of relevant post-graduate experience

- Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation user certification

- Experience working on UK projects and knowledge of UK design standards

- Familiarity with technical design guidance and standards such as DMRB, MfS, TSRGD, HCD, and IAN 184

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

Desired skills:

- Knowledge of basic design using Civil 3D

- Awareness of Revit Software
