## Description

As a Food Manager at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Ipswich, Suffolk, you will play a crucial role in leading the food hall team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results.

The ideal candidate will have previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others to raise the bar.

Key responsibilities include:

- Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall

- Managing compliance to processes whilst bringing passion and flair for great shop keeping and customer service

- Ensuring every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us

- People management, including performance and capability management, disciplinaries, and scheduling and pay accuracy

- Assuming overall responsibility for running the store at times

The salary for this role will be dependent upon your experience as well as the store size, complexity, and location, but starts from £32,700.
