## Description

Welocalize, a Welo Global brand, is seeking a native-level Urdu speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme for a major global technology and communications client.

As a hands-on, on-site role, you will evaluate a pre-release AI model in Urdu and test how the product performs on a client-supplied device – a smartphone and a next-generation smart glass.

Your tasks will include:

- Reviewing pre-release AI model output in Urdu and judging its accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality

- Testing the Urdu experience against the English one, confirming feature parity, and checking the product handles non-Latin script, diacritics, right-to-left text, and mixed-language input correctly

- Identifying display problems and localization errors, and writing up issues clearly for developers to reproduce

- Sharing your perspective as a native-level speaker on navigation, usability, and language-specific nuances

- Working on-site in a private, secure area of the Welocalize office

- Supporting other linguistic projects as needed

Requirements include:

- Native-level or fully bilingual Urdu, written and spoken, with a current feel for how the language is really used day-to-day

- Confidence with smartphones and laptops, and comfort moving between iOS and Android

- A sharp eye for detail and fair, objective judgement when assessing quality

- The ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts and guidelines, and explain issues clearly in English

- Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus

You'll work alongside an experienced linguist and tester on technology most people won't see for months, in a team that takes quality and precision seriously.
