## Description

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager – Events/ Corporate/ MICE to join our team in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will be responsible for targeting group/catering accounts, markets, or segments with a heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation. They will partner with the group/catering counterpart to effectively manage business opportunities and respond to incoming group/catering opportunities for the property.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying, qualifying, and soliciting new group/catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals

- Developing effective group/catering sales plans and actions

- Designing, developing, and selling creative catered events

- Maximizing revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage

- Understanding the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and knowing how to sell against them

- Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings

- Providing excellent customer service to grow share of the account

- Executing the brand's Customer Service Standards and property's Brand Standards

- Working collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated and complementary

- Managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related professional area

- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major; no work experience required
