## Description

Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited is seeking a Communications Intern to join their team in Oakville, Ontario. The internship is hybrid, with the possibility of being onsite four or more days per week for those in commuting distance to a Ford hub location.

The Communications Intern will contribute to Ford's transformation and future vision, working as part of a team to establish Ford as the world's most trusted company through purpose-driven storytelling. The primary responsibilities for this position include:

- Contributing to various communications projects, including Ford Model e Communications, Ford Blue & Industrial Systems Communications, Ford Pro Communications, Corporate Communications, and Employee Communications

- Demonstrating strategic thinking, business acumen, and technical skills

- Working collaboratively as a member of a team

- Delivering results through initiative and problem-solving skills

The ideal candidate will have:

- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies/Media Relations, English, or Film Studies

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work as a member of a team

- Initiative to deliver results

- Writing, reporting, and verbal communications skills

- Proficiency in digital and social media tools

- News reporting or editing experience

- Ability to develop innovative approaches to engaging audiences

- Interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures

- At least one relevant prior internship or work experience

- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

The expected hourly pay range for this position is:

- $22.25 - $30.12 for Undergraduate students

- $31.72 - $34.89 for Graduate students
