## Description

The Data engineering team at Chime builds scalable data artifacts and insights to enable accurate, governed, data-driven decision-making. As a Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering, you will build scalable data pipelines and frameworks, architect and build workflows, and own all aspects of data quality, governance, schema design, and security.

Responsibilities:

- Build, scale, and optimize ETL pipelines

- Design data schemas and scale them for 10x data growth

- Ensure data quality, governance, schema design, and security

- Develop scalable data architecture and standardized data models

- Own ETL workflows and ensure data quality and availability

- Collaborate with partner teams like Data Science, Analytics, and DevOps

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience transforming data to governed and lucid datasets

- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-quality data pipelines

- 5+ years of experience working with stakeholders to provide business insights

- 5+ years of experience writing SQL, Spark, AWS Glue, EMR, Airflow, Python

- 3+ years of hands-on experience using MPP database systems like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Teradata

- Track record of successful partnerships with Analytics, Data Science, and DevOps teams
