## Description

We are looking for a Claims Handler to join our Operations team at Insify. As a Claims Handler, you will handle business damages and AOV files, and contribute to building the future of claims handling.

Your role: You are skilled in your profession, able to quickly understand a file, determine when an expert is needed, and explain a decision to a customer having a bad day. At Insify, you will have your own mandate, a small team, and direct contact with our insurers.

Responsibilities:

- Handle business damages (liability, inventory, and goods)

- Conduct intakes for customers who become disabled and handle objections to AOV claims

- Contact experts, lawyers, and other insurers

- Direct communication with our insurers and reinsurers

- Support and advise customers, even when delivering bad news

- Contribute to building the future of claims handling: automating repetitive work, smart use of AI, and sharper fraud detection

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in handling business damages

- Experience with AOV claims is a plus, curiosity about it is essential

- Wft Basis; Wft Schade zakelijk (and private) is a plus

- Clear communication in Dutch and English, verbally and in writing

- Critical and analytical, able to make decisions and explain them

- Proactive, solution-focused, and pragmatic, working efficiently and accurately
