## Description

We are looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in Insurance and/or Asset & Wealth Management coverage.

You will provide comprehensive financial analysis and advisory support on transaction execution, new business presentations and meetings, and other such duties. You will conduct market research and competitive analysis on industry trends, regulatory developments, and strategic positioning within insurance, asset management, and wealth advisory sectors. You will coordinate with Industry, Product and other groups to evaluate and originate new business ideas/opportunities. You will proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business and review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.

To succeed, you need:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Investment Banking, of which at least 3 are in the FIG space

- Solid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling

- Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting

- Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of the organization

- FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses

- Bachelor’s degree and MBA, MA, or MS or equivalent emphasis in finance/accounting

The good-faith expected salary range for this position is $175,000-$225,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
