## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist in our HASE Technology department.

Principal responsibilities include:

- Providing IT project delivery and assisting project managers with project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release, and more

- Leading or assisting teammates to provide business and technical solutions that meet business needs

- Being accountable for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey

- Liaising with other teams, including architects and business stakeholders, to understand and drive the product or service's direction

- Conducting end-to-end system tests, user acceptance tests, and providing support on system implementation

- Ensuring high-quality standards of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices

- Preparing project-related documentation and providing support on compliance and audit checking

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- 8+ years of rich hands-on experience in development

- Experience delivering high-quality and complex system solutions

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Proven hands-on experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

- Strong understanding of front-end build tools and modern JavaScript frameworks

- Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices for front-end testing

- Solid experience in CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Maven, Groovy, Nexus, Jenkins

- Knowledge and experience with distributed systems, micro-service architecture, and APIs

- Knowledge and experience with relational databases

- Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and tooling)

- Ability to work in an Agile working model

- Strong passion for technology and engineering
