## Description

We are seeking a Clinical Lead and Operational Manager for our Community Neurology Service. The successful candidate will manage the Newham community neuro rehabilitation pathways for neurological and community stroke rehabilitation. The role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team, developing strategy, and implementing national and local policies.

The post is 0.6 WTE and offers a salary of £63,665 to £70,887 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time for a fixed term of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide operational and professional management of the Integrated Neuro-rehab Service

- Develop strategy in response to national, North East London, and local policy

- Contribute to the development of Neuro/Stroke rehabilitation pathways across North East London

- Hold a small clinical caseload consisting of highly complex neurological conditions

- Act as a Consultant (Experienced specialist opinion) within the management of highly complex neuro/stroke service users

Requirements:

- Degree or equivalent

- Evidence of continuing Professional development

- Health Professional/Nursing qualification

- At least three years management experience within the NHS

- Previous leadership experience in Neuro

- Good understanding of Clinical Governance

- Knowledge and understanding of national stroke policies and guidance
