## Description

We are seeking a Clinical Specialist to join our team at Circle Reading Hospital, part of Circle Health Group. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

The successful candidate will provide specialist, evidence-based Physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients with a broad range of Women's and Men's Health conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing and managing patients with pregnancy-related pelvic girdle and lower back pain

- Supporting antenatal exercise and preparation for birth

- Providing postnatal rehabilitation, including diastasis recti management

- Offering specialist rehabilitation for men before and/or following relevant prostate, urological, and colorectal surgery

- Acting as a specialist clinical resource for Women's and Men's Health Physiotherapy

- Collaborating with relevant medical, nursing, and allied health professionals

- Providing specialist advice, education, and support to Physiotherapists, students, and other healthcare professionals

- Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records

To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Degree or equivalent recognised qualification in Physiotherapy

- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

- Significant post-registration Physiotherapy experience, with substantial specialist experience in Women's Health, Men's Health, and/or pelvic health rehabilitation

- Recognised postgraduate training relevant to Women's and Men's Health, pelvic health, and/or continence Physiotherapy

- Advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment skills within the speciality

- Experience independently managing a complex specialist caseload

- Knowledge and experience of relevant specialist assessment and rehabilitation techniques

- Experience contributing to service development, clinical education, supervision, or quality improvement

- Strong understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding, consent, and professional responsibilities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £35.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
