## Description

### Maintenance Specialist - Plant Daniel

The Maintenance Specialist will report to the Planning Team Leader and be responsible for coordinating maintenance for assigned areas/equipment to ensure generating availability, efficiency, and reliability.

#### Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations.

- Develop and implement plant improvement projects.

- Provide technical direction and maintenance expertise to maintenance or contract personnel.

- Support and coordinate processes such as Maximo, Living Maintenance Strategy, and Event Learning.

- Develop and monitor budgets for process and equipment needs.

- Provide support for Team Leaders and the Engineering/Performance department as necessary.

#### Requirements:

- Thorough understanding of plant equipment, systems, and operation.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Effective written and oral communication skills.

- Working knowledge of budgets and the budgeting process.

- Proficiency in computer-based applications (Microsoft Office, Enterprise solutions tools).

- Understanding of the IBEW/Union contract.

#### Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Operations and/or Maintenance in an Electric Generating Plant or 5 years journeyman level experience in other industrial work environments.
